Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for new products, services, and changes on the Ericsson Charging System (CS) and Ericsson CIS.
– Conduct workshops and meetings with business units to understand product and service requirements, user needs, and market trends.
– Translate business needs into technical specifications and requirements for the Ericsson Charging System elements, including SDP, AIR, CCN and other nodes, and Ericsson CIS.
– Perform feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed changes, considering system capabilities, dependencies, and integration points.
Change Management:
– Manage and oversee all changes to the Ericsson Charging System elements and Ericsson CIS, ensuring that all modifications comply with business and technical requirements.
– Develop and maintain change management documentation, including change requests, impact assessments, risk assessments, and detailed implementation plans.
– Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule and communicate planned changes, minimizing disruption to business operations.
– Ensure all changes are aligned with the organization’s change management policies and industry best practices.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
– Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new products, services, and changes on the Ericsson Charging System and Ericsson CIS, covering functional, performance, and regression testing.
– Perform end-to-end testing to ensure the functionality, stability, and performance of the Ericsson Charging System elements and Ericsson CIS, including rating and charging scenarios, tariff plans, and real-time charging events.
– Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to automate testing processes and implement continuous integration and testing frameworks.
– Identify, document, and resolve any issues or defects discovered during the testing phase, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Deployment and Implementation:
– Plan, coordinate, and manage the deployment of new products, services, and changes to the Ericsson Charging System and Ericsson CIS, including configuration changes, and new feature implementations.
– Develop and execute detailed deployment plans, including rollback strategies, to ensure smooth implementation with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
– Coordinate with internal teams, such as Network Operations, IT, and Customer Support, as well as external vendors, to ensure timely and successful deployment.
– Monitor the deployment process, provide real-time updates to stakeholders, and address any issues or challenges that arise.
Documentation and Training:
– Prepare detailed technical and user documentation for all changes and new implementations on the Ericsson Charging System and Ericsson CIS, including system configurations, process flows, and troubleshooting guides.
– Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for internal teams on new features, products, and services, ensuring they are well-equipped to support and manage the system.
– Maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge base articles to support ongoing operations and future changes.
Monitoring and Reporting:
– Monitor the Ericsson Charging System and Ericsson CIS for performance, stability, and any potential issues post-implementation, utilizing system monitoring tools and dashboards.
– Generate regular reports on system performance, issues, and changes, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
– Analyze system data and metrics to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
– 4+ years of experience working with Ericsson Charging System, Ericsson CIS.
– Strong understanding of Ericsson Charging System elements.
– Proven experience in requirement gathering, change management, testing, and deployment in a telecom environment.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
