For a well-known British Company in Alexandria, a “Marine Surveyor” is urgently needed.
Job Description:
1- Performing vessel draft surveys, barge surveys, on/off hire condition surveys and product inspections for vessels carrying a variety of products, mainly coal, oil, Agri (Wheat and Corn) and fertilizers.
2- prepare and submit reports after completion of freight shipment.
3- Inspect shipments to ensure that freight is securely braced and blocked
4- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations
5- Utilizing knowledge of ship construction, stability, terms and routines, as well as standard inspection and quality management procedures to conduct marine draft surveys.
6- Using sophisticated draft surveying techniques (draft immersion) to calculate quantities of cargo loaded or discharged from vessels, taking into account any changes in weight that may take place during cargo operation.
7- Utilizing standard methods and reporting procedures to draft survey reports, including certificates of weight, certificates of analysis, and certificates of hold cleanliness and tightness.

Requirements:
– From 2 to 3 years of experience .
– A degree from Faculty of Sciences or Faculty of agriculture or Faculty of Marine Engineering if not then his Experience will be enough.
– Knowing the laws and the safety procedures
– Able to travel (Suez , Damietta , Port Said)
– Good in English (written and speaking)
– Knowledge of MOS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
– A degree from Faculty of Sciences or Faculty of agriculture or Faculty of Marine Engineering if not then his Experience will be enough.
– Knowing the laws and the safety procedures
